A working meeting was held at DMO Karakalpakstan with the team of trainers of the project “Youth and Women – Ambassadors of Sustainable Tourism in Karakalpakstan,” implemented with the financial support of the European Union, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, and the outcomes, and mechanisms for participant engagement. Particular attention was given to issues of sustainable tourism development, environmental responsibility, support for local initiatives, and strengthening the role of youth and women in the development of the region’s tourism sector.
The participants also reviewed organizational aspects of conducting events in Nukus, Muynak, and Khojayli District, and discussed practical approaches to equipping participants with Yuksalish Movement.
During the meeting, participants discussed the program of upcoming training sessions and seminars, their key objectives, expected
the knowledge and skills necessary to implement their own projects and initiatives.
The project aims to serve as a platform for experience sharing, leadership development, and the creation of new opportunities for young people and women interested in the sustainable development of their communities and the promotion of Karakalpakstan’s tourism potential.
