A meeting was held with Beate Schoreit, Program Manager of the Representative Office of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) in Uzbekistan, during which the parties discussed issues of further cooperation and the implementation of joint initiatives in various areas of the socio-economic development of Karakalpakstan.

Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan R. Zarikeev expressed gratitude to GIZ for its continued support in implementing projects aimed at regional development, preservation of natural and cultural heritage, and improving the well-being of local communities.

Director of DMO Karakalpakstan M. Kosnazarov highlighted GIZ’s significant contribution to the development of sustainable tourism and support for local initiatives. The meeting also focused on promising areas for future partnership, including tourism development, promotion of the region’s tourism potential, support for entrepreneurship, and the implementation of new joint projects.

The meeting was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, reaffirming the mutual interest of both parties in continuing effective cooperation.
