The participants discussed the role of women in the development of the tourism industry, support for handicrafts, the creation of new tourism products, and the promotion of the region’s cultural heritage.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairperson of the association Yakubova Nigora Kamaldinovna, Chief Accountant Dimetova Dildora Abdumannapovna, and Chairperson of the Karakalpak branch Elibaeva Nazira Umarovna.

The Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, R. Zarikeev, noted that women are becoming an important driving force in the development of tourism, entrepreneurship, and the service sector. In turn, the Director of DMO Karakalpakstan, M. Kosnazarov, emphasized the special role of women in preserving traditions, developing eco-routes, and creating a hospitable environment for tourists.

Particular attention was paid to supporting women’s initiatives, developing family and ethno-tourism, and creating new opportunities for women entrepreneurs in the tourism sector.

As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to further cooperation and the implementation of joint projects aimed at developing the tourism potential of Karakalpakstan.
