The DMO Karakalpakstan team visited the Chimbay district as part of the work to develop community-based tourism and create new tourist routes in Karakalpakstan.

During the trip, meetings were held with talented masters and artisans of the region. We visited the workshop of jeweler Adil Tajimuratov, as well as the works of sculptor and artist Daribay Tajimuratov, and visited his home museum.

The team also visited a workshop for the production of national yurts, where artisans continue to preserve and develop the traditions of folk art.

Today, artisans are not only guardians of culture and traditions but also an important part of the region's tourist attractiveness. DMO Karakalpakstan continues its work to involve local artisans in tourist routes and create new opportunities for the sustainable development of the regions.
