As part of a working visit to the Chimbay District, the DMO Karakalpakstan team visited several public catering establishments and held meetings with representatives of the gastronomic business sector.

During the meetings, opportunities for the participation of establishments in the QR Gastronomic Quality project were discussed. The project is aimed at improving service quality, developing gastronomic tourism, and promoting the national cuisine of Karakalpakstan.

The development of the gastronomic sector is an important part of creating modern tourist routes and attracting tourists to the region. Local cuisine, hospitality, and an authentic atmosphere can become one of the key advantages of Karakalpakstan as a tourist destination.
