A meeting was held at the “DMO Karakalpakstan” public association with the participation of Otabek Nishonovich Khusanov, Director of the Public Fund under the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, detailed information was presented on the results of the project “QR Gastronomic Quality: Assessment and Improvement of the Quality of Tourism Services to Increase the Attractiveness of Karakalpakstan”, which is being implemented based on the Fund’s social order.

In addition, the participants discussed the current development of the tourism sector in Karakalpakstan, including opportunities for the development of gastronomic tourism, as well as potential areas for further cooperation in this field. 

Following the meeting, Mr. Khusanov emphasized the need to further improve the electronic platform developed within the framework of the “QR Gastronomic Quality” project, as well as to expand the involvement of business entities operating in the field of gastronomy, and provided a number of relevant proposals and recommendations.
