In Nukus, testing has begun for an electronic platform and mobile application designed for public catering establishments, developed by the Public Association “DMO Karakalpakstan”.

The “QR Gastronomic Quality” project is being implemented within the framework of a social order from the Public Fund for the Support of Civil Society Institutions under the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Its goal is to make service in establishments more convenient and to improve the gastronomic experience of guests and residents of the region, making it more modern and high-quality.

Using the electronic platform and mobile application, visitors can scan a QR code and instantly access a digital menu with photos, dish descriptions, ingredients, portion sizes, and prices. Everything is available in four languages. Users can also leave reviews, share their impressions, and view ratings of establishments.

One of the first testing locations is the “Caravan” restaurant, where the application has already been installed and is currently being configured.

It is expected that the introduction of this electronic platform and mobile application will help establishments better understand their guests, improve service quality, and enhance the tourism appeal of Karakalpakstan.
