Student Seminar-Training “Gastronomic Branding as a Tool for Tourism Development”

As part of the “QR Gastronomic Quality” project, implemented under the social order of the Public Fund under the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Youth Tourism Development Club in Karakalpakstan, under the public association DMO Karakalpakstan, conducted a training seminar for students of the University of Innovative Technologies.

The event focused on important issues of gastronomic quality and branding as an innovative approach to developing the region’s tourism potential.

Students gained insights into how the unique gastronomic culture of Karakalpakstan can serve as a powerful tool for attracting tourists and as a stimulating factor for the regional economy. They studied best practices in gastronomic branding and explored ways to apply them to local products.

They also examined methods for evaluating the effectiveness of investments in the quality of tourism services and gastronomic offerings.

The initiative by DMO Karakalpakstan provides young people with the necessary knowledge and skills for successful professional activity in the field of tourism.
