As part of the project "QR Gastronomic Quality: Assessing and Enhancing the Gastronomic Quality of Tourism Services to Increase the Attractiveness of Karakalpakstan," experts are continuing to conduct surveys among cafe and restaurant owners across all districts of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. This project is implemented under a social contract from the Public Fund for Support of Civil Society Institutions under the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The primary objective of the survey is to determine the current state of service quality in the region's catering establishments and to identify opportunities for the development of gastronomic tourism. The study evaluates how closely service levels meet tourist expectations and examines the existing conditions for creating a competitive gastronomic product.

Based on the data collected, an analytical review will be conducted, and practical recommendations will be developed to improve service standards in local cafes and restaurants. Furthermore, the project includes plans for seminars, training sessions, and masterclasses aimed at enhancing the professional skills of entrepreneurs and food service workers.
