The DMO Karakalpakstan team presented the results of their working trip to Kyrgyzstan as part of the practical visit “DMO Study Tour – Kyrgyzstan 2025”.
The event was attended by the Director of DMO Karakalpakstan, employees and participants of the Youth Club established under the public association.
The purpose of the visit was to study successful tourism practices, strengthen partnerships and develop international cooperation through exploring key tourism directions in Kyrgyzstan and participating in practical activities.
During the trip, the team visited tourist sites in Bishkek, Cholpon-Ata, and Lake Issyk-Kul, and explored the Historical Museum and the “Rukh-Ordo” cultural and educational complex. The program also included studying models of regional cooperation, immersive audio formats, agro-tourism practices, birdwatching, as well as participating in craft workshops.

- Advantages of international partnerships and exchange of best practices
- Models of territorial integration of tourism resources
The practical visit to Kyrgyzstan became an important contribution to the further development of the activities of the DMO Karakalpakstan. The gained experience brought new ideas, inspiration and practical solutions, served as a significant motivating factor for implementing future international projects aimed at the sustainable development of tourism in the region.
