As part of the project “Youth and Women as Ambassadors of Sustainable Tourism in Karakalpakstan,” the public association DMO Karakalpakstan organized an online seminar and meeting entitled “New Opportunities for Tourism Business Development in Karakalpakstan.”
The online meeting brought together winners of the business initiative competition, training participants, representatives of local mahallas, entrepreneurs, and everyone interested in promoting tourism and local business development.
During the meeting, the project winners shared updates on the implementation of their business initiatives, the results achieved, the work carried out, and the challenges they have encountered in the process. They also shared their practical experience with project experts and received recommendations and suggestions for further developing their initiatives.
The seminar provided an opportunity for open and constructive dialogue on tourism development and local entrepreneurship in Karakalpakstan, support for new business initiatives, and the effective use of existing opportunities. Participants received answers to their questions from specialists, exchanged experiences and ideas, and gained practical recommendations for their future activities.
Such meetings help establish new partnerships, promote initiatives led by young people and women, and contribute to the joint development and promotion of the region's tourism potential.
The project is implemented with the support of the European Union, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, and the National Movement “Yuksalish.”
