G. Alimbayeva, PR Manager of the DMO Karakalpakstan Public Association, took part in an educational program for young representatives of non-governmental non-profit organizations held at the Olmos recreation area in the Bostanlyk District.
Her participation was organized upon the recommendation of the Karakalpakstan Regional Branch of the National Association of Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations of Uzbekistan.
The program brought together active representatives of civil society from different regions of the country. It was organized by the National Association of Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Public Fund for the Support of Civil Society Institutions under the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Public Fund for the Support of Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations of Uzbekistan.
Throughout the program, participants enhanced their knowledge and practical skills in the following areas:
- - developing effective grant projects;
- - fundraising and resource mobilization;
- - ensuring the sustainable development of NGOs;
- - applying modern interactive tools;
- - using digital platforms in the activities of civil society organizations.
During the practical sessions, G. Alimbayeva presented and further developed a project initiative aimed at strengthening the tourism potential of Karakalpakstan. The project concept was refined based on experts’ recommendations and modern approaches to social project management.
In addition to its educational component, the program served as an important platform for exchanging experience, expanding professional networks, and discussing new opportunities for cooperation among NGOs across Uzbekistan.
The knowledge gained and the new partnerships established during the program will be applied by DMO Karakalpakstan in implementing future initiatives in sustainable tourism, regional promotion, youth engagement, and the development of civil society institutions.
