DMO Karakalpakstan welcomed a delegation from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung), led by Ihor Bryzhatyi, Programme Manager for European Union projects in Central Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as EU–Ukraine Integration.

The purpose of the visit was to review the progress of the project "Youth and Women as Ambassadors of Sustainable Tourism in Karakalpakstan", implemented with the financial support of the European Union, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, and the nationwide movement "Yuksalish."

The DMO Karakalpakstan team delivered a presentation highlighting the project's implementation progress, key achievements, and the activities planned for the remaining implementation period.

During the meeting, Mr. Ihor Bryzhatyi highly praised the project's implementation and also highlighted the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan, which are creating favorable conditions for the development of the tourism sector and strengthening international cooperation.

The meeting was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, reaffirming the mutual commitment of both parties to further strengthening their cooperation.
